Liana was a four year starting point guard and two year captain for Hanover Park High School, leading the team to a State Sectional Championship in 2011, and finishing 3rd all time in assists.
Liana then played for 4 years of college basketball at MIT, serving as two-year captain, 3 year starter, and finished as one of only two players in program history to break 400 assists.
